Rules of 21 used here
- Goal. Beat the dealer's total without exceeding 21. Going over 21 is a bust — the hand is lost immediately.
- Cards. 2-10 score face value. J/Q/K each count as 10. Aces are 1 or 11, whichever keeps you under 21.
- Dealer. Hits until 17, stands on any 17 (S17).
- Blackjack. Ace + ten-card on the first two cards pays 3:2. Tie with dealer blackjack pushes.
- Double. One additional card, only on the first two. DAS allowed.
- Split. Same-value pair → two hands. One split max. Splitting aces gives each hand exactly one card.
- No insurance. Insurance is a separate side bet at ~7.4% house edge — the trainer skips it.
FAQ
Which ruleset does the trainer use?
Multi-deck (4-8 decks), dealer stands on Soft 17, doubling after split allowed, no surrender. Same setup as every Evolution / Stake / Roobet live blackjack table.
Does basic strategy guarantee I win?
No — it minimises the house edge from ~5% (untrained) to ~0.5%. Variance is the only thing working against you, not bad decisions on top.
What happens when I bust?
Standard 21 rules: any total over 21 forfeits the hand immediately. The trainer marks the hand "BUST" and moves on.
